Yeah. So, there's this greedy ass company called Shinra Electric Power Company where I come from. They're bleeding the planet dry, they've killed countless people and invaded other countries to take their land and their resources. Even killed their own as coverups.
My home, Wutai, is one of those places. We were at war for years, because those assholes came at us. Thousands of my people died. Then, one day, the geezers in charge made a deal with 'em, to put the war on hold. A ceasefire. The rest of us were pissed. We wanted to fight back! And at first, we couldn't do anything about it. But then some deserters from Shinra came over, sick of the way Shinra ran things. With their help, we came together and formed the interim government. And bam! Revolution.
When all this is over, our plan is to give the power back to the people. So all the citizens of Wutai can decide what kind of country we want to be.
Yeah. Besides, it's Shinra. [ as if kate would know anything about shinra ] Even if they agreed to a ceasefire for now, there's no way they're not going to pull something the first chance they get. They already blame us for everything.
