True... but if that were the case, they could've done it by now, right? Or should've.

If they return now to do it, they'll get caught up in the fumes, right?

Unless the alternative is starving...

...The food in the refectory doesn't seem to have any bad effects, though? None that I can feel or saw in other people.

Could try to fish in the river but you can only do so much, with forty people to feed...

[ It's OOC Thursday my lads, we can fix that. ]

Maybe if we're polite, Pestilence will deign to share some vegetable sprouts with us.

[ Though that'd imply long-term commune living, but may as well have it just in case rather than forego it altogether. ]

You're a bit more suspicious than I thought you'd be.

[ Not that he thinks it's a bad thing. Me checking the date on this pc rq. ]

I did get some lavender from Pestilence today. I've given it to Ms. Gainsborough for care, but that's a pretty harmless place to start as any if we wanted to check the sanctity and safety of things they give us.

I asked for some strong smelling herbs for the rat problem we've been facing.

And lavender's quite good for the mind to boot.

[ Mind restoring item in his game. Yay! ]

It's a pretty strong scent... I asked for mint, initially, but Pestilence suggested I take home some lavender instead.

Even if it doesn't end up working much on the rats, it's still nice to have around to look at... and smells like regular lavender.

I haven't noticed anything wrong with it personally, but I'm sure Ms. Gainsborough would be able to tell.
