I've been learning more and more about what "shadows" are. But I don't think I'm the same as they are.

Other shadows come from "morphs"... fairies with no distinct features. A morph becomes a shadow when it decides to mimic the shape of another living creature.

The only people who seem to know anything are the adults of the manor, and they restrict what information can be known to children or outsiders.
