... I was never a morph to begin with. I was born outside of the house... as a human.

[She wishes she could see her face. It's impossible to tell what she's feeling, and Camille can't bear to overstep.]

[She blows out a breath, uncertain. If she could just rub her finger over that face and scrub the soot away.

Do have people who can help you there? People you trust on your side?

... I do now. The other children in the house. They're prisoners there, even though most don't realize it. I was able to get through to some of them.
