[The words make Erin jump a little. She had just...ended up wandering. The cemetery ended up being a place as good as any to end up at, and she hadn't expected somebody to be here. Seeing Kate makes her exhale]

Cor...just me. Trying to get over everything. Absolutely horrible day, you know why.

I want to feel angry about all this, but gotta tell you, I just feel tired. It's...all too fresh.

... I don't know who to be angry at right now. The killers, Ichiban, or Karma... or an unknown number of cultists, who won't even show themselves to us.

The cultists. They're the ones who got us here. It's all their fault.

Guess it is, but it's also easier to be pissy with them since we can't see them. Less feeling guilty about it.

[Since, well, getting upset with someone around here only will make you feel worse and worse, since you probably will keep seeing them for a while.

After all, it's not like we can arrange a three-way tie. Killers will survive!]

I don't think it's easier... I wish I could face them now.

What would you do if you faced them now?

[Shout at them, try to attack them...?]

...on second thought, scratch that question.

[She's not sure if more soot coming out of your head is good or not, but better err on the side of caution and not end up with, like, Kate accidentally spilling her sooty self all over the place]

Yeah, but we haven't lost ourselves yet. As long as you're there it's your duty to keep going and make it go well for you.
