Two seconds with that guy, pretty sure there's no one here who wouldn't. If Shinra hadn't shown up in the Saucer, maybe we could've taken him out for good.

Of course we would've. [and nobody would feel bad about it.] But Shinra wouldn't be Shinra if they didn't interrupt at the wrong moment.

Least he's not a problem in Midgar anymore, I guess.
