Morphs... those shapeless forest creatures that turn into shadows. They're born of soot and darkness, with little will of their own...
They mimic people. Their shapes and their behaviours, everything, inside and out. They even mimic their feelings. But they're not just imitations... because they can grow and change, and love, and despair. Because they have hearts that they made all on their own.
[Hm. He's not entirely sure how he feels about this, but his expression remains relatively impassive, thoughts and feelings tucked further below the surface. There is a lot about this that is uncomfortably familiar, though.]
