Could complain, but it'd be inconsiderate to do so with our limited choices.

Dusty, and crowded, but we're working on the former. The second one, not much to do about that.

Same here. Maybe we should count our lucky coins? Haven't heard as much nice things about the mortuary, or the theatre.

It's decent busywork while we sort things out. Hard to think if we're distracted by creaky floors, coughing from inhaling mould.

Our resources are limited, but there should be some ways that we can make these places more comfortable.

And... I think, at a time like this, it's important to do things to build trust with one another. It could be that the disparity was meant to create a divide between us.

Some definitely aren't happy about where they ended up. You're not bound to them, though, not physically... though there is an odd feeling I can't shake off whenever I think about the cabin that wasn't there before.

Ordinarily, there would be some reason to it... A way to prevent or stop such an influence.

There are some who manipulate humans using mind-altering substances... but one would need to drink or inhale such a thing, first.

Yes. We wouldn't have many options if, say, a substance was mixed with the pyre smoke.

There's no reason to assume this is the reason for any strange feelings we've had, anyway.

I did get some lavender from Pestilence today. I've given it to Ms. Gainsborough for care, but that's a pretty harmless place to start as any if we wanted to check the sanctity and safety of things they give us.
