Week 0, Monday

[sootprints]

[ at the haunted house, kate steps outside to see lavi near the plaque. she tries not to draw attention to it, but along one of her shins is a word in white lettering: FALSE. ]

Ah... You are Lavi? It seems we may be sharing a living space for the next while.

[ this is the first time they've met, so fyi, she looks like this. hi. ]

[Lavi turns at the sound of her voice, blinking as he takes her in. Woah, a picture's one thing, but seeing her in the flesh.... fascinating....

he notes the word, his own ink projected on his chest forming the word "bystander"]

Yeah, Kate, right? Nice to meet ya. You ever roomed with a bunch of people before?

week 0, friday

[THE HILARITY OF HAUNTED HOUSE CURFEW JUST HAVING A GRAND OLE TIME

well at this point! Lavi has seen the posters!!! wow!! he will probably be here once he realizes the locations are all fcking normal, though he'll approach Kate when he spots her,]

[ kate is easy to find! there's smoke coming out of her head, so she is basically a walking smoke signal. she's just pacing around outside somewhere. ]

... I can't find their crows anywhere.

Week 0, Saturday

[sootprints]

[ after the trial, kate returns to the house.

she can be found sitting with her back to a wall, soot staining the wall and the floor below her, with her hands pressed against her chest. she takes slow, deep breaths, like she's trying to regulate herself. ]

[Lavi will pause when he sees her, and then step away... goodbye...

only to come back with a glass of water. he kneels down next to her, holding it at his side but within taking distance,]

week 1, monday

[maybe kate is at the barn ranch, minding her own business... perhaps she is petting a cat or a sheep....

at some point, a red rose will dangle in front of her from above, attached to said rose is unfortunately (1) Lavi, who will grin down at her.]

Ta-da.

[ yeah let's say she was petting a sheep

she gasps in surprise and gives a little start! ]

week 2, monday

[GETS SEIZED BY SHADOWS IG, and as they do, a memory unfolds.

"Are you an Exorcist or not?"]

[ ... hm. ]

... Being an exorcist seems... intense.

Week 2, Thursday

[ wherever lavi is after coming back, kate is coming to find him! ]

Lavi? Were you able to get your wounds treated...?

[ how's he looking... ]

[he'll be back at the house in his room!!! he's sitting on the edge of the bed, and he's shirtless sorry kate..... but he has bandages around his torso so he may as well be wearing a second shirt. his face and head are bandaged up too, and all the bandages are stained red still,]

Yeah! Daan and Yuu bandaged me up.

[his face is pale, but he smiles when he sees her.]

Sorry about the noise. [he was probably GROANING IN PAIN a lot]

week 3, monday

[i hope kate is having a wonderful, relaxing time reading in the academy library because as she does she'll hear a disembodied voice calling to her....]

Kate?

[woah this voice sounds like lavi.... he sounds so close but he's not visible? what's that about]

[sootprints]

[ kate is sitting and flipping through a book...

and she looks up sharply, and turns her head to look around...

......

then goes back to the book. maybe it was her imagination. ]

Week 3, Friday

[ after returning from investigating, kate took a bath and changed into some clean clothes, and can be found sitting at the table in their house. there's a bowl of berries she's snacking from, though for the most part, she seems restless, drumming her fingers on the table and stacking berries into little pyramids. they don't get very high.

but when she sees lavi, she raises her gaze to see him. ]

Oh, Lavi. Something strange happened last night... Where did you end up?

[Kate your berry pyramids... Lavi is coming down from the stairs with wet hands, wiping them off his coat, gross -- before coming over to take a seat at the table with Kate.

at the question, he grimaces]

...I was at the tree. Tsumi, Robin, Totty, Karlach, Asa, and Satoru were there too.

Week 4, Tuesday

[dates this after both camille reveals.... Lavi will head over to look for her,]

Guess we can't pull our hot dog couch prank now, huh?

[You okay?]

[sootprints]

[ she's just quietly sitting somewhere. she's wearing this but the edges of the hood are already blackened with soot. she lifts her head when he speaks. ]

... Ah! That's right. Too bad.

[ I'm not sure it would have been a very good prank... ]

week 4, friday

[WELL AFTER THEIR HOUSE MEETING, Lavi will remain in the living room, probably sitting on their leech couch, shedding glitter.

He'll look over at Kate though,]

...Have you found your partner yet?

[sootprints]

[ still brushing glitter out of her hair. she shakes her head. ]

No, I haven't.

week 4, sunday

[well. that was sure an execution!!!

some time passes before Lavi goes to find Kate, but he does eventually try and find her, wherever she is.]

...Hey.

[he looks tired, but no worse for wear than he was at the beginning of execution. he merely looks in on Kate to see how she is,]

[ well! she's sitting on a bench near the pyre, still wearing a sad lil hoodie with the hood pulled up. it's hard to tell if she's better or worse or about the same. ]

... Oh, Lavi.

[ she doesn't lift her chin, but she sees him. ]

Week 5, Monday

[sootprints]

[ out at the new area. fit check. kate's taken some tea over to the grotto where it is quieter and safer. vibes are... a dark abyss of misery and anxiety! but right now, she is also perplexed. ]

... Just to check, that wasn't either of our doing, was it?

[ our monday mingle polycule chaos. she says this like lavi wasn't being weird too but look. ]

[HER FIT IS SO CUTE... Lavi will join her at the grotto, dressed in a casual button down and pants that i won't link bc mens fashion tch.

Lavi's vibes are a muted kind of sadness, and also..... longing....... wonder why...... but at her question, there is a little guilty blip...]

...Anis and Alfyn's my mistake. No idea about the others though.

week 5, friday

[okay he is here at the pyre, probably after everyone else runs at her in SHOCK!! PAZU!!!!!!!!!!

his emotions are an insane mess -- there's anger and fear and guilt, so much of it -- and also numb shock. he stands in front of this bubble and stares at her]

[ she's just sitting here in her bubble.

in tattered rags stained in red and black. but otherwise, serene. she lifts her head just a little to face him. ]

Lavi.

Week 6, Wednesday

[sootprints]

[ at some point, when they're away from the party crowd, this little faceless penguin approaches lavi. ]

I'm so glad to see you again.

[Lavi grins down at this smol faceless penguin,]

...Me too. I thought I'd have to wait longer to see ya again.

Week 7, Saturday

[sootprints]

[ after we all kill god, kate's going back to the haunted house. ]

You didn't all make a mess of the place while we were gone, did you?

[ she says, like we'll get to be here for more than a day. ]

Lavi will accompany her!! he shakes his head]

Nah, we had to move into Mumu's place after we got stink bombed. [WHO DID THAT TO THEM....] But I came back after to keep the place clean!

[it's back to its nice and normal house now....]
